Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Department of School Education will release AP TET 2013 Notification in the 1st week of July 2013. AP TET 2013 Examination will be held on 25th of August 2013. Online Applications will be accepted from July 15th. Last Date to apply online is 31.07.2013. Earlier it was believed that, this year, there will be NO TET Examination, and TEST (Teacher Eligibility in Selection Test) will be held for recruiting teachers in AP. But AP State Govt decided against TEST due to Technical Issues and will conduct TET and DSC 2013 examinations separately.    



Eligibility: 

For Classes I-V: for candidates already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates or pursuing final year of respective Teacher Education Course during 2012-2013 or earlier:Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education 

OR 

Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) 

OR 

Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education)




For Classes VI-VIII for candidates already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates or pursuing final year of Respective Teacher Education Course during 2011-2012 or earlier: i. B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education. 

OR 


B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com pass with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing 1 - year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Course.

OR 

B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com pass with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education)* Course. OR Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Course. 

OR 

Intermediate /Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 4-year B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed Course.


The candidates who did not qualify in the 1st and 2nd, 3rd APTETs can also apply for the forth APTET. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier APTET can also apply for 4th APTET if they desire improvement over their previous TET score. 


Two Papers: 
The test (APTET) will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper- II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.  


Who Are Eligible for AP TET? All candidates who possess D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses during the academic year 2012-2013 with requisite percentage of marks obtained and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Andhra Pradesh State can appear for APTET.

 How many papers are there? APTET will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for PaperII. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. -
